Food Service Preparation - Product Handling Instructions
Product Comes Ready to Use as is – Heat in Sealed Pouch and Serve Do Not Add Water:
Frozen Shelf Life: 12 Months @ zero degrees F
Handling and Storage: KEEP PRODUCT FROZEN UNTIL READY TO USE. THAW ONLY UNDER REFREGERATION IMEDIATELY BEFORE USE.
Heating Instructions: Prepare large container/pot of rolling boiling water. Container must be large enough to submerge 6 lb bag of product. Carefully place frozen sealed product pouch in boiling water and heat product for minimum 15 minutes reaching temperatures of 180F. Product can be prepared in boiling pouch in refrigerated defrosted state as well. Serving time may vary depending on the number of pouches in boiling water and the equipment in use.
Serving: To ensure safety, always wear protective insulated gloves and safety glasses. Proceed with caution. Cut angled corner of boiling pouch carefully with scissors and slowly poor content into serving steam/holding container. Once product is fully heated, holding temperatures and serving is 165F.
